Landbank intensifies investigation on ATM skimming

Two public teachers in the city of Urdaneta, Pangasinan, Clifford Daluya and Andy Jacobe complained at the Landbank of the Philippines after an unauthorized withdrawal incident happened from their bank accounts.
According to the victims, almost 50,000 pesos was withdrawn in their salaries and savings collectively in a skimming incident.
Daluya, in an interview, he received a text alert from Landbank withdrawing 45, 000 pesos. Arriving at the bank, Daluya was baffled finding out that his co-teacher, Jacobe was also a victim of skimming.
The Landbank of the Philippines refused to give a statement about these automatic teller machines skimming. Malou Manaois, Bank Office Manager of Landbank Urdaneta, said that they will be conducting an intensive investigation about this skimming incidents.
Landbank sent an apology for the loss of money of the two valued customers of the bank. They promised to get the culprit of this skimming syndicate.
According to the investigation of the bank Urdaneta Branch with the help of the Philippines National Police (PNP), they found out that the withdrawal was done in San Fernando, Pampanga. The authorities are trying to get CCTV footages near the area.
